Tam at Night

For this short project, I wanted to create game-ready pixel art sprite animations of my cat Tam. Tam is full of character and sass so it was important to capture the subtle details of his movement to convey his personality. I’ve begun by using a generic cat video I found on google as a reference for finding the keyframes for a walk cycle. Dividing the body into the rib cage, pelvis and paws allowed me to focus on the important elements of the movement. After that was done connected the paw to the body and added all the details.
