Reviving the Blog

I didn’t fully understand how the blog system worked when I first created my WordPress portfolio. I ended up using it mostly to keep notes for myself on my progress through my degree in Sequential Art. Recently I had the idea of trying the blog system once more but as a real blog inspired by those I followed in the middle 2000’s. Maybe nobody will see it and it will be mostly me talking to myself and that is okay too. In any case, here is the first post.

My choice of superpower.

I can’t seem to say no to people even when it’s obviously the best course of action. It might be me avoiding any confrontation or unpleasantness but mostly it is me not wanting to make another feel rejected or unappreciated. I almost learned to say no right away when people I know ask me to make some graphic design for them. Almost. Usually, it ends with them admitting my designs are weird and us awkwardly parting our ways. But at least they don’t think I’m not willing to help, right? Eh, I’ll figure it out.
